Dan Hay

Partner, Founder

Dan is one of the leading attorneys and professionals in the fields of privacy, data protection and cyber-law in Israel. Dan accompanies and advises a vast range of organizations – banks, insurance companies, retail chain stores and distributors, telecom companies, healthcare organization, and more. The firms’ goal, to allow processes rather than preventing them, was adopted by Dan early in 2005, when the firm first began to accompany organizations in the privacy domains.   

Dan also specializes in the fields of IP, copyrights, sports law, commercial litigation, including representation in class actions and defamation claims, and acta as an arbitrator in these fields.

As a past member of the Privacy Protection Public Council (2007-2012), and the chairman of the privacy committee in the Israeli Bar Association (2005 – now), Dan has a political-legislative proven track record. Amongst others, Dan has participated in the legislation process of the latest amendments to the Israeli Privacy Law (2007 and 2011), the Data Security Regulations of 2017, and the Credit Data law of 2018.

Dan has acted as the Bar’s representative in the Parliament on matters of databases and wiretapping. He is an active member of the Englard’s committee which reviews and recommends the Parliament regarding amendments to laws concerning the publication of judicial decisions and verdicts.

Dan lectures at several forums and leads three elective courses at Reichman university and Coleman’s management college for LLB students.

Liav Shapira

Partner, Head of the Privacy Department

Liav provides expert legal advice in the fields of privacy law and data protection, cyber and data securitycommunication law.

Among Liav’s clients are Israeli banks, finance and insurance corporations, tech companies, retail and food distribution companies, start-ups, municipal authorities and more, to which he regularly assists with ongoing advice on privacy matters as well as implementation of compliance programs.

Head of the Litigation Department

Daniel advises a wide range of leading corporations in the Israeli and global environment, including media, communications, retail and technology companies, car importers, government companies, food manufacturers, distributors, etc.

Before joining our team, Daniel interned and worked as an attorney at the Arnon, Tadmor Levy law firm.

Adiel Klein

Head of the International Department Data Protection/ Commercial & IP

Adiel provides legal advice in privacy, tech, and cyber law – mostly in the fields of personal data, privacy and security, and digital structuring, all in favor of the organization’s needs. Adiel handles both local and international law, and as such has an expertise in various data protection laws, especially in European (GDPR) and American (CCPA, LGPD) regulations.

Per his expertise, Adiel supports and assists organizations with their digital platforms, websites, and apps, analyses relevant data flows, drafts end users’ agreements, policies, and negotiates various commercial agreements.

Raz Danai
